Well, I did it! I got my master’s degree in music composition at California State University, East Bay. It’s been such an intense time finishing this through the pandemic, and I feel like I got robbed of a graduation and celebrating this major milestone, but I’m so proud of myself for staying the course. I’ve learned so much at CSUEB, from composition to ethnomusicology, music theory, research, and more.A big thank you to my mentor Inés Thiebaut, and all of my professors in the CSUEB music department.

I’m so proud of myself for the work I’ve completed, and I feel ready for whatever is next! Stay tuned, because I will be applying for Phd and DMA programs, and I’ll be continuing my own composition work and music lessons in the mean time.
